Product Information & Verification Standards

How We Verify the Information Published on Our Product Pages

Product information begins with factory-supplied specifications, but we do not publish those details without further review. Our content team organizes the information, and our QC and product teams verify technical details before publication.

Our Verification Workflow

From Factory Data to Published Product Information

We use a structured process so product pages are based on more than a factory specification sheet alone.

1
Factory Information

The factory provides the initial model specifications, movement information and product details.

2
Content Review

Our content team organizes the information into a clear product-page format.

3
Technical Verification

Our QC and product teams check technical specifications against the actual watch.

4
Correction if Needed

If factory information does not match what we verify, the product information is corrected before publication.

5
Publication

The product page is published after the information has gone through this review process.

What We Verify

Technical Details Are Checked Against the Actual Product

The exact checks depend on the reference, but the areas below are part of our product-information verification process.

Case Size & Dimensions

Product dimensions are physically measured rather than accepted from factory data alone.

Movement Calibre

We inspect the actual movement and confirm its identity against the reference being sold.

Movement Functions

Date, GMT, chronograph and other model-specific functions are tested to confirm how the watch actually operates.

Dial & Visible Details

Dial layout, markers, date display, engravings and other visible reference details are reviewed.

Bracelet & Clasp

Bracelet construction, clasp design and relevant adjustment features are checked where applicable.

Case & Finishing

Case construction and visible brushed or polished finishing are checked against the version being listed.

Movement Verification

We Confirm the Movement by Inspection and Functional Testing

Movement information is not based only on a supplier description. We inspect the movement itself and test the functions that should be present on the corresponding reference.

Physical Inspection

The movement is visually inspected so we can confirm the calibre family being used in the watch.

Function Testing

We test model-specific functions such as date setting, GMT operation or chronograph start, stop and reset where applicable.

Performance Testing

Timing behavior and other movement-performance indicators are checked during QC before shipment.

Movement claims on our product pages refer to the clone movement actually used in the watch. We do not present an original manufacturer's technical specification as though it were automatically the measured performance of every clone movement.

Dimension Verification

Published Sizes Are Physically Checked

Factory-provided dimensions are used as the starting point, but our team also measures the actual product.

Factory Specification

The factory supplies the initial measurements for the model, including the stated case size and other dimensional information.

Our Measurement

We physically measure the watch to verify the listed dimensions before relying on those figures as product information.

Measurements are intended to help customers compare references and understand fit. They describe the physical product rather than serving as a universal prediction of how a watch will wear on every wrist.

How We Choose Between Factories

We Do Not Fix Every Model to One Factory

Different factories may be stronger in different models. For that reason, we do not base our product selection on one factory name across the entire catalog.

We Compare the Available Versions

When more than one factory produces the same reference, our team compares the available versions and chooses based on actual product quality. We consider case and dimensions, dial, movement, bracelet and clasp, finishing, functions, stability and factory consistency.

A factory name is not our final quality standard. The finished watch is. Different factories can be stronger in different references, so selection is made model by model.

When a Version Changes

New Versions Are Reviewed Before We Replace an Existing Listing

A new factory version is not automatically treated as better simply because it is newer. We review the updated version before deciding whether it should replace the version currently being sold.

Review the New Version

We compare the updated version against the current product in the areas that matter for that reference.

Verify Technical Changes

Dimensions, movement, functions and visible construction details are rechecked when relevant.

Update the Listing

If the new version is selected, the product information is updated so the page reflects the version we intend to supply.

If Information Is Wrong

We Correct the Page and Contact Affected Customers

Product information can occasionally require correction. When we identify an error, we update the relevant information rather than leaving incorrect data in place.

Before an Order

If an incorrect specification is discovered, the product page is corrected after the information is verified.

After a Customer Has Ordered

If the error could materially affect the customer's purchase decision, we proactively contact the customer so they can review the corrected information.

We do not intentionally substitute a different version without informing the customer. If the version associated with an order changes or becomes unavailable, the customer should be informed rather than receiving an undisclosed replacement version.

Product Photography

Product Images Can Come From More Than One Source

Product-page images can include both our own photography and factory-supplied photography. We do not describe all product images as original in-house photography when that is not the case.

Additional Verification Is Available

Customers can request QC photos or video before payment, or after payment and before shipment. This provides an additional way to review the watch beyond the standard product-page images and specifications.

Verification Standards FAQ

Common Questions About Product Information

Do you publish factory specifications exactly as they are provided?

No. Factory information is the starting point. Our content team organizes the data, and our QC and product teams verify technical details before publication.

Do you physically verify case sizes?

Yes. Factory dimensions are reviewed against physical measurements of the actual product.

How do you confirm the movement calibre?

We inspect the actual movement and test the relevant functions to confirm the calibre and functional layout used in the watch.

Why do you not list one factory for every watch?

Different factories are stronger in different references. We compare available versions and select based on actual product quality rather than fixing the entire catalog to one factory.

What happens when a factory releases a new version?

We review the updated version and verify relevant technical changes before deciding whether it should replace the version currently being sold.

What happens if a product specification on the website is wrong?

We correct the product information after verification. If the error could affect an existing customer's purchase decision, we proactively contact that customer.

Are all product photos taken by your own team?

No. Product-page images can include both our own photography and factory-supplied images.

Can I request QC photos or video?

Yes. QC photos or video can be requested before payment, or after payment and before shipment.
